All tickets to this seminal thought leadership event were snapped up just four hours after being released. Anticipation had been mounting for some weeks about this free knowledge sharing event, hosted by AudioLock for members of the Association of Independent Music (AIM).
AIM is a non-profit making trade organisation for independent music companies in the UK. AIM represents 25% of the UK market, with over 850 members from small start-ups to the largest and most respected independents in the world.
This landmark event will be the first of its kind with the aim of dispensing free information to help and support independent labels combat piracy and maximise their release sales.
The event format includes a cream tea reception at NightyEight, one of London’s funkiest (and rather secret) bars, followed by talks from leading industry on their experiences addressing piracy.
Industry insight at this informative but informal event includes commentary from leading labels Hospital Records and Hyperdub on the effectiveness of deploying music piracy countermeasures. Free legal advice from music industry lawyers and professionals will also be provided. There will be a Q&A session hosted by AudioLock’s CEO Ben Rush at the end of the forum to provide a further opportunity to ask questions about how best to fight piracy successfully, giving delegates insight on how to maximise their anti-piracy ROI and drive music sales. All guests will enjoy a glass of Pimms and networking as the event concludes.
We hope this to be the first of many such knowledge sharing events and look forward to welcoming our guests on the night.
