AudioLock are seeking two ambitious and determined individuals to join us for three months on a summer internship programme in our Southampton office. If you are striving for success in the music industry and want to join a growing company protecting the rights of leading independent record labels and artists, read on to find out what we can offer you!
You will be joining a fun and lively office; all staff here have varying experiences in the music industry from playing in bands and DJing to music production, record label management and PR. Whilst based in Southampton there will be opportunity to visit our London office to gain further experience from our sales and marketing team.
This is a really exciting time for the company as we expand the range of media we protect beyond audio to include film/ TV, ebooks and games. These three new dedicated companies sit under the Global Content Protection Group. You will be a part of this development during your time with us.
As part of your internship programme you will be working with the Operations Team to discover, classify and train our system on the latest sites containing infringing content, and get an insight into how the piracy landscape affects the wider creative industries. We also participate in events both in the UK and overseas – the next being the Brighton Music Conference in June, which you may attend.
This internship will give you valuable experience in the following areas:
- Music business mechanics
- Customer support
- Data entry and analysis
- Systems maintenance
Your placement will be for two days a week from 0900 to 1630 for three months, starting near the end of May.
