On Thursday the 2nd March we held a soft-launch party for AudioLock 2.0. The venue was Kevington Hall, a fantastic stately home that contains a nightclub called The Enchanted Forest. We were delighted to see so almost 200 clients, friends and independent music industry folk make the journey from all over Europe to attend and celebrate with us.
CEO Ben Rush gave an impassioned speech early on about the problems facing rights holders in 2017 and how AudioLock 2.0 will be there to help, then it was onto eating, drinking and dancing! Drinks were kindly provided by sponsors Butcombe Brewery, Cobra Beer and Jagermeister and we were treated to music from our ambassadors and friends Elrose, Jamie Ings and Seamus Haji.
After enjoying the unseasonal sunlight coming through into the main house in the later afternoon the party was moved through into the Enchanted Forest nightclub where we heard DJ sets from Anna Wall, Judge Jules, Mark Doyle and Ridney augmented by the aptly named live percussionist Jayondrums. With the event starting at 4pm and a school day the next day we were pleasantly surprised to see so many people still dancing at 2am when we finally had to call a halt to what had proved to be a fantastic event.
AudioLock 2.0 will go live very soon, watch this space!
We’d like to thank all the people who kindly gave up their time to help make the event a success, be it playing a DJ set or ensuring the bar was well stocked!
Below is a small selection of photographs from the event, but please see the whole album here feel free to tag yourself in any you may appear in.
